The New Trends and Make-up Buys Part II

Romantic Goth
The A-list has been flaunting this key autumn/winter make-up look for months as far back as the MET Ball in fact.

Backstage the Romantic Goth trend was very much inspired by Lisbeth Salander (the main character in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and you can interpret this look two ways.

First, blackened, vampy lips paired with hauntingly hazy eyes and little mascara; look to Gucci (pictured) for inspiration. Alternatively, play up your eyes with smudged, worn-in liner and a barely-there lip colour.

By Terry
Wear this blackened berry lip colour full-on, applied precisely with a lip brush. Or dab onto lips for a just-bitten stain.

Clarins
Wash eyelids with a whisper of colour to balance out a statement, vampy lip.

Maybelline
Smoke up your eyes by smudging this along your lash line, top and bottom.

Nars
Add a pretty edge to your look with a hint of pearlescent shimmer.

Revlon
Toughen up your talons with this super dark lacquer by Revlon's Gucci Westman.
