At last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards we saw a resurgence of the red lip—which is a refreshing change after all the 'no makeup, makeup' we've been surrounded by lately. Emma Stone paired a bright cherry hue with her unique Christian Dior Haute Couture ensemble, Rosamund Pike (also in Dior) chose a shade with a hint of orange, while Maggie Gyllenhaal and Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael complemented their white gowns with classic crimsons. Before the award show Lupita Nyong'o Instagrammed a photo of three Lancôme red lipsticks with the caption "RED RED, WHICH RED?" She ended up going with L'Absolu Rouge Lipcolor in Caprice and her makeup artist, Nick Barose, offered up some advice about how to pick out the right red.
