CLOTHES as intricately beautiful as those shown at the couture collections in Paris require some seriously special beauty looks to complement them. Go close-up on spring/summer 2015's hair and make-up backstage.
Chanel / Tom Pecheux created a glossy red-lipped look for the Chanel show, with a heavy band of taupe shadow across the lids and brows.
Chanel / A strip of mesh covered each model's eyes, tied at the back in a bow.
Chanel / Hair, by Sam McKnight, was worn centre-parted, with many models wearing hats.
Giambattista Valli / Val Garland gave models flawless complexions, neat brows and silver-toned eyes at Giambattista Valli.
Giambattista Valli / Hair, by Orlando Pita, was styled in low ponytails, accessorised with spotted veils and ribbon bows.
Christian Dior / Peter Philips created an understated beauty at Dior, perfecting skin and defining eyes with a sweep of taupe shadow. Lashes were left bare, whilst lips were given a subtle slick of gloss.
Versace / Pat McGrath was responsible for the make-up look at Atelier Versace, which focused on the eyes.
Versace / McGrath and her team drew eyeliner deep into the crease of the eyelids, extending outwards to create Sixties-style cat eyes, finished with false lashes.
Versace / Another version of the look came in electric blue, offset by nude lips.
Versace / Hair, by Guido Palau, was tousled and natural-looking.
