“I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little–if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny. And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny” (Coco Chanel)

GRAMMYS 2015 BEAUTY: 10 CELEBRITIES WHO BROUGHT THEIR HAIR AND MAKEUP A-GAMES
The beauty trend at this year’s Grammy Awards, it seems, was looking like yourself but better, which is something we can obviously get down with. From Ariana Grande‘s thick winged liner and over-lined pout (thanks for the tip, Kylie Jenner) to Beyoncé‘s down-to-there extensions, our favourite A-listers showed up looking like extra-glowing, airbrushed versions of themselves. Rihanna 2.0? We didn’t know it was possible, but we’ll take it!
Speaking of Rihanna, the singer went super-minimal with her hair and makeup, to balance out that stunning Giambattista Valli gown, donning a simple ballerina bun and natural makeup that showed off her incredible skin. Kim Kardashian debuted her new bob, and Nicki Minaj kept her minimal style as of late going with straight hair and major lashes.
Lady Gaga rocked a gorgeous multi-shade smoky eye that she paired with silver locks, for the standout beauty look of the night, and Taylor Swift also opted for colour on her eyes, going for a turquoise smoky eye to match her dress.
