9 Ways to Style Curly Hair

There are quick ways to style curly hair without stressing about an up do or the frizz that comes with curls. Follow these steps to get the perfect set of locks.

1. Wash
Make sure to wash your hair first.

2. Treatment
Use a conditioning treatment and allow it to sit on the hair for about 5 minutes. Use a wide tooth comb or a tangle teaser to get rid of any knots. This is the last time that you will comb your hairstyles” throughout the styling process.

3. Shampoo
The shampoo and the conditioner should be thoroughly rinsed…

4. Shake
With your head turned upside-down, you should shake your hair and allow the curls to form naturally. Use your own fingertips to lift your hair off of your scalp and allow them to take shape.

5. Squeeze
Avoid rubbing your hair with a towel. Squeeze the water out instead of rubbing your hair and breaking the curls. Take a t-shirt and rub it on your hair instead because they are smooth

6. Cream
Take a curl cream such as Aveda Be Curly and curl enhancer. Apply the style prep first and then the curl enhancer which is creamy when it is applied.

7. Diffuser
Use a diffuser if you want to dry out the majority of your hair. You can allow it to dry naturally but a diffuser is going to make it a quick process. Consider using Anthony Nader WAHL to dry your hair…

8. Serum
You can use a serum or a wax if you think that your curls don’t have enough definition. One of the best styling products is Aveda Pure Abundance or O&M Frizzy Logic. They can also be put strictly on the roots to add some volume to it.
9. Style
This is a quick styling process that doesn’t take too long and it will result in natural, beautiful ringlets without the frizz

10. Conclusion
Everyone’s hair varies, which is why you should find a style and a product that works for your texture of hair. If you have fine hair, it may be a bit more difficult to keep the ringlets in, which is why you can find a hair spray that keeps the hold but prevents the curls from getting too sticky. Some of the best products to use are the natural ones that are made up of organic ingredients. Just because the product is expensive, it doesn’t mean that the product is effective on all hair types. For really dry hair, it’s effective to use oils so that moisturize is soaked in. Oils that contain almond are effective in putting moisture back into dead ends. For oily or fine hair, use less conditioner and try using products that put more volume back into the locks so that it doesn’t sit down straight on your head.
It’s important to make sure that you take care of your hair in extreme weather conditions. Heat and cold weather can dehydrate the hair. Washing it all the time isn’t necessary – considering washing it every other day to preserve the hair’s natural oils.
